This is not just a medical case. This is a young girl's life.
Peace is still a child. She should be in class, laughing with friends, doing homework, and dreaming about her future. Instead, she is fighting for her life.
Peace is a bright 14-year-old girl in JSS 3. She loves school. She wants to learn. She wants to grow. She wants to become something great in life.
But right now, Peace is carrying something no child should carry — a serious heart problem. She has been diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), and there is a large hole of about 14mm in her heart.
While other children are thinking about school, games, and their future, Peace and her mother are thinking about hospital bills, medical tests, drugs, and how to keep her alive.
Her mother is doing all she can. She is a single mother of two and a teacher in a primary school at Police College Ikeja. Her salary is small. It is not enough for all the heavy medical costs. Still, she keeps trying because she does not want to lose her daughter.
The family has already spent so much money on hospital visits, tests, drugs, school fees, and daily care. Loans have been taken. Debts are growing. The burden is too heavy for one mother to carry alone.
The surgery she needs can only be done in India, and the total cost is far beyond what the family can pay. That is why they are crying out to kind Nigerians and good people everywhere: Please help save Peace.
No amount is too small. Your support can move her one step closer to surgery, healing, and a chance to live a normal life.
